[....] Finally the assemblig of the vault could star but before is necessary to undertake the construction of the centerings, also in this case we follow the traditional procedures. We start by the construction of a wooden platform set were the tas-de-charges finish. Over this platform the vault is redrawn once again and a series of vertical timbers are placed in the position of each boss stone, each of them with its accurate height. And, finally, the curved centerings of the arches connect the vertical timber between them (photos 22, 23).

Over this imposing auxiliary structure each piece of the vault find its right place and carefully the assembling of the vault reveals the spectacular idea of Vandelvira (photos 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29).

The concentric central rings, built with subsidiary ribs, remind us of a representation of the earth’s sphere paradoxically reinterpreted onto the spherical surface of a gothic vault (photo 30).
